Like our three tenets; Faith, Integrity, Excellence, we think our pedagogical approach is best organized in
Three Divisions: Primary, Junior, and Senior
Upheld by our Three Core Techniques: Ballet, Jazz, and Modern.

Primary Division
Pre-Ballet, Beg. Ballet, Beg. Tap/Jazz/Tumble, Beg. Broadway
Primary level students at GAFA experience the joy of dance through creative expression and movement exploration while building foundations in technique. We begin to guide the student and instill an understanding that dance is a gift from God and we can use it to honor, praise, and glorify our Creator.
Primary Division Colors
Our Primary Division houses our Pre and Beginning Level dancers.

Pre-Ballet is in Light Pink.
​
Beginning Level dancers (both ballet and Jazz) wear lavender.

Junior Division
Core Classes: Ballet 1-3, Jazz 1-3, Modern 1-3
Building on the principles found in our primary division, Junior level students gain a deeper understanding of technique, etiquette, performance, and artistry. The opportunity to explore new genres is encouraged in this division as technical expectations increase. Junior students continue to grow in their understanding that dance is a gift from God and we can use it to honor, praise, and glorify our Creator.
Junior Division Colors
Colored leotards are required for our core technique classes of Ballet, Modern, Jazz. ​
Students not enrolled in Ballet will be assigned a color.

Our Junior Division dancers are our Levels 1-3 dancers. Level 1 wears light blue
Level 2 wears marine/turquoise
Level 3 wears Royal Blue.
Dancers can wear black or other leotards for Elective/Add-on Techniques.
Junior Gallery
Senior Division
Core classes: Ballet 4-6, Jazz 4-6, Modern 4-6.
Refinement and fine-tuning of technical skill and performance quality is deep-rooted in our Senior Division through additional classes and a high level of instruction. This level of dancer is our most technically advanced and is deeply dedicated to the vision of GAFA. These students are the stewards of the GAFA pillars of Faith, Integrity, and Excellence as they use their gifts to honor, praise, and glorify our Creator.
Senior Division Colors
Colored leotards are required for our core technique classes of Ballet, Modern, Jazz. ​
Students not enrolled in Ballet will be assigned a color.

​Our Senior Division is our upper level and houses our Level 4-6 Dancers.
Level 4 wears Mulberry
Level 5 wears Burgundy
Level 6 wears Plum
Dancers can wear black or other leotards for Elective/Add-on Techniques.
